Imaginarium

Yeah, I’ve decided to list descriptions of my imaginary friends so I can refer to them in my blog. Right now I just have the most frequently used ones.

Basic Format:

• Name
• Appearance/Gender
• Concept changes
• Personality or role in the group

 

ORIGINS: I basically run around in my mind with my little band and talk to book characters and…stuff.

• Lysander
• Blue, male talking dog with a gold band around his neck
• Originally had hooves
• Annoying and whiny but loyal and helpful, good at making terrible puns

 

Lysander, my first character, but he was demoted to second-in-command after I brought this guy in:

• Roth
• Black dragon, male, with indigo undersides of wings and sail on head in place of ears, and gold eyes
• Sails on head were originally a solid fin
• Gives good advice and generally knows what he’s doing, but lacks an understanding of my Beatles-fan-ness

 

Yes, Roth usurped Lysander’s position, but he stopped complaining when I introduced the bird.

• Jaca
• Male kestrel
• Was originally a peregrine falcon
• Wise and fearless, uses formal speech, only allows certain people to understand him

 

There are four horses, so I’ll only address the main ones here.

• Tayle
• Black stallion
• Used to be more wild-tempered, was originally a specific breed
• Uses formal speech, very protective, calm, often rushes into things

 

Yep, he’s the calm one, most of the time. The exact opposite of the love of his life:

• Amya
• Small fawn-colored mare
• Was originally a brown Shetland pony
• Fiery and wild-tempered, madly in love with Tayle, doesn’t take advice

 

Ah, I may as well mention the other two.

• Yggar (Gar)
• Large fleabitten gray mare
• Originally pure white and in love with Pocatello
• Uses formal speech, stuck-up, rude to “lesser” horses

 

Yggar was originally supposed to like the other stallion:

• Pocatello
• Strawberry roan stallion
• Originally a cruel Lipizzan
• Depressed, lonely, wishes Yggar liked him

 

And the newest addition:

• Queen Who Conquers Night (Conqueror)
• Female black cat with gold blotches and silvery eyes
• Originally a gold cat with black paws
• Only allows certain people to understand her, fiery, in love with life, doesn’t follow instructions
